Description :  The Tudor was the first large home in the area, but it is now next to several large homes. The driveway can accommodate up to 5 cars. The Carriage House on the top left has a Calif King bed and day bed, the beds also have electric blankets for extra coziness and warmth.

Just a 4-minute stroll to the waves of the large Rio Del Mar beach with it's fun deli and fine restaurants and the Seacliff State Park Beach-next door. There are also 10+ bikes, hot tub, croquet yard & much more! This grand English Tudor Manor is just the right setting for groups with 8 sleeping on the Ground floor, 10 on the Upper floor and 4 in the Carriage House for a total of up to 22 for a total of 7 bedrooms and 4 full baths, 2 with showers and 2 with tub/showers. The Ground floor features an elegantly appointed gourmet kitchen with highly polished granite tiled counters and all new stainless steel appliances including a new gas stove and oven and Bosh dishwasher There is a large food locker for extra food just outside the back door. The dining room had 3-tables that seat 20 plus 4-counter stools in the dining area for a total of 24. The 1st Bedroom has a Queen, 2nd Bedroom has a California King air-coiled bed. The living room has a 2-Queen Innerspring futons in front of the large wood fireplace. There are also 4-folding adult-sized cots for guests that prefer not to share a bed. There are lots of games and a large armoire with TV/VCR/DVD and a stereo entertainment center. The Upper level has a 3rd Bedroom with redwood floors and a Queen bed and an elegant hardwood crib (which when there are no infants visiting, doubles at a stuffed toy storage bin.) 4th Bedroom has two twin beds - one of which is a "Sleep Number bed" so if you ever wanted to find out what your number is, it is available to try. The 5th bedroom or extra seating room has 2-Queens innerspring near the fireplace and upstairs entertainment center with lots of free videos. The 6th bedroom has a Queen bed and is called the Sunshine Room. It also has a private deck with a table, chairs and umbrella. There is a compact yet fully equipped second kitchen with a gas stove, microwave and an extra refrigerator. The stackable laundry is located in a small closet off the kitchen. The detached Carriage House has 2-twin beds, a day bed (for child under 5', and a sofa. The 2-twins can be made up as a large King if desired. There is also a Cable TV/VCR and stereo w/CD and tapes. This area is often delightfully claimed by the teenagers in the group as their special clubhouse. The third bathroom is in the upstairs carriage house area.The 7,000 sq ft yard had a small but fun hot tub & a large croquet yard.

Attraction :  Just 4-min levels walk to a large sandy beach that is 7-miles long and includes the Rio Del Mar & Seacliff Beach State Park with it famous wharf and cement ship. Also within an fun bike ride is the beautiful Forest of Nisene Marks State Park. The park offers rugged semi-wilderness, rising from sea level to steep coastal mountains of more than 2,600 feet. Once the site of logging operations until the 1920s, visitors can still find evidence of logging operations, mill sites and trestles in the park. The land was donated to the state by the Marks family in 1963. With over 30 miles of trails, hiking, jogging and biking along trails and streams and small waterfalls are some of the activities to be enjoyed here. Picnic tables and barbecue pits are available. Close to the entrance of Nisene Marks State Park is the older village of Aptos with its historic Bayview Hotel and Restaurant. Several restaurants from the English Pub, the Britannia Arms with its stone fireplaces, game room and frequent live music, The Sushi on the Run, which makes fresh Sushi to order or you can just grab freshly made favorites to go with hot miso soup for a picnic at their tables or at the nearby beaches. Manuel’s Mexican on Center at the entrance to Seacliff St Beach Park has specialized in serving wonderful Red Snapper for years!! Lot of other shops from small unique specialties shops to familiar stores like Safeway, Rite Aid, Ace Hardware are all within a couple of miles of the home.
